I'm a freelance designer and technophile from the Northeast. I've worked with large and small companies alike in various capacities as a designer, lead designer, manager and operator of a small business.
My design sensibility is that of clean lines and thought out, engaging design. I'm not a designer that rushes into something from the perspective of thinking that it will 'just work out'. I've found most designers that do that end up with a poorly executed product even if the concept was spot on.
In my career as a designer I've done everything from television news graphics, print, web and every little niche in-between. I graduated with degree in Broadcast Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design were I also worked heavily in the 3D design and graphic design disciplines.
Taking over the world would be fun, but a lofty goal that I don't think is very realistic. I enjoy freelance and I think in some capacity I'd love to continue to do it. Ever since I was a child though there has been a draw to work in larger organizations and the few that I've been apart of I rather enjoyed.
I'll still be doing design, and evolving my vision and style, as every designer I feel should always continue to move forward and learn new things and stretch themselves in new ways.
I have a feeling that the internet will be a very different place in 10 years though so we'll have to see where that takes us.
